Setting a Pay Period for an Employee

Overview

By default, the system calculates payroll reports based on a standard calendar month (1st to end of month). If your company uses a different pay period — for example, from the 26th of the previous month to the 25th of the current month — you can configure this directly in the employee's profile.

Once set, when you open the employee's monthly report, the pay period will be selected automatically based on the configured dates.


Method 1 — Set from the Employee Profile

Go to the relevant employee's profile and update the pay period field with the required dates.

Don't forget to Save the changes.


Method 2 — Bulk Update for Multiple Employees

You can update the pay period for multiple employees at once from the employee list.

Select the relevant employees, click the "Actions" button, and choose the option "Bind salary period".
